The preschoolers practiced /p/ today! By scrunching up tissue paper and using a glue stick we strengthened our fine motor muscles.
There wasn’t enough snow outside to build a real snowman out of snow, so we improvised and created our own in the classroom.
We were Author’s and Illustrator’s today! We re-read the book, Where is Scooter? by Bruce Larkin in reading groups. We wrote a new sentence for the book, cut it apart and put it back together. Then we illustrated the sentence. Cutting apart simple sentences is a great way to get a better understanding that letters make words and words make sentences!
Creative Tots has specialized in the private education of both toddlers and preschool age children for over 15 years. We began in the heart of Madeira and now also have a new Mason location. We are specifically designed to focus on early childhood development for children ages 18 months to 5 years.
