Making art also helps children develop eye-hand coordination. As children decide how to make parts fit together into a whole, where to place objects, and what details to include, they learn to coordinate what they see with the movements of their hands and fingers. This eye-hand coordination is essential for many activities, including forming letters and spacing words in formal writing.
Mr. Tenny loves to eat numbers! We reviewed our numbers 1-12 this week as we strengthened our hand muscles in preparation for writer’s workshop that begins next week. Keep working on those name during homework!

We created a rainbow of fizzy bubbling eruptions with baking soda and watercolor vinegar!
We had so much fun making our Tye Dye T-shirts on Tuesday. All of our hard work paid off, what a beautiful rainbow of colors!
