    How Does Your Garden Grow?

What does a plant look like? What does it need to grow? We learned about the parts of a plant, the plant life cycle and the difference between fruits and vegetables during a visit from the Cincinnati Museum Center. We rolled up our sleeves and spent some time digging in the dirt and planted our own seed to take home to add to our growing garden!

  • Gardening Galore!

The Kprep class has been learning about the parts of a plant, the plant life cycle, what a plant needs to survive and how to grow our very own plant! The students have made individual  “Green house’s” and have planted their very own grass seed! We added some crazy faces to our cups so that when grass grows, it will look like our hair!

We are excited to see some results!

  • Seed to Salad

We kicked off Seed to Salad Summer Camp by planting seeds to watch grow.  First, we filled the containers full of dirt.  Then we added carrot, onion and radish seeds.  We placed them in the window for sunlight and will watch them all week!
