Today we talked about how important it is to brush our teeth! For our art project today, the kids decorated their very own tooth brush! As you can see here, they are having fun using the dot paints to make their tooth brushes colorful!

Today we worked on another special piece for the art show! The kids had three steps to this project to make it complete! The first fun part was to take a paint roller and roll paint all over the bubble wrap. The next step was to use their hands to pat it down all over their paper and the third exciting step was to lift up the bubble wrap to see what they made! THE ARTIST AT WORK IN PREPARATION FOR THE TOTS ART SHOW NOVEMBER 13, 2009
What could be more fun than taking paint and splattering it all over your paper! The toddlers had so much fun making their creative masterpieces this morning with all kinds of paint and a big mess at the end! These special pieces of art were inspired by the artist Jackson Pollock and will be shown at our Art Show in November.
Kinesthetic name and letter recognition with the Toddlers
Today we were working on tracing the letters in our name. We let the children dip their finger in red paint and helped guide them as we traced each letter. This was to help them become familiar with all of the letters in their names and to get a feeling for how to write each letter. The color we are focusing on this month is red so we used red paint and red circle dots.
Creative Tots has specialized in the private education of both toddlers and preschool age children for over 15 years. We began in the heart of Madeira and now also have a new Mason location. We are specifically designed to focus on early childhood development for children ages 18 months to 5 years.
