We worked together in small groups yesterday to make an oversized shape painting. Pick a color..paint a shape. The students switch colors and move to a different location. They layered designs, made dots, shapes, patterns, painted with a brush and even with their fingers.
We could not go outside to play…so we brought outside… inside! 🙂

Tape Resist Art
Ms. Diana put pieces of tape on the toddlers’ paper to look like a snowflake, and then the toddlers used their hands to paint over it. When the paint dried, Ms. Diana peeled the tape off to reveal a unique piece of resist art.

We learned about the Mayflower today. Who sailed on the Mayflower? What was it like? What were the pilgrims allowed to bring on board? What did they eat? Was it an easy voyage? Where were they going? We answered all of these questions and many more as we explored the voyage of the Mayflower to Plymouth.
Last week the toddlers painted with a feather. Today they added a comb, a beak and a wattle to create a
beautiful blue chicken!
