By following the path from top to bottom the children were strengthening small muscles, developing eye hand coordination,
which are prewriting skills and also giving them a sense of accomplishment.
A cow couldn’t really jump over the moon…..however the boys and girls discovered they could!
In small groups today we baked our very own home made brownies! Cooking with children helps their spatial reasoning and understanding volume and weight. In each small group they measured with measuring cups both solid and liquid ingredients. After practicing our baking skills we made Valentine bags.
While having fun the early 3’s were strengthening their small muscles which help them to make percise movements that are necessary for forming letters and helps with eye hand coordination.
Preschool children are fascinated with astronauts, stars and the moon. What a perfect time
to introduce them to space.
