Happy Birthday to Kiran!! We enjoyed some yummy cupcakes to celebrate his birthday today! Today we had fun playing with the discovery paint bags and finger painting. 🙂

The highlight of our day today was singing and playing instruments with Ms. Joanie!! Check out the fun photos from our musical Friday morning!

Today, the toddlers enjoyed painting their hands to make hand-print pictures. They also enjoyed the sensory/discovery bags with hair gel, food coloring, and soap inside. They loved sliding their fingers around the outside of the bag and watching the squiggles and prints that their hands made.

On Tuesday, we painted with marshmallows and played with discovery bottles!!

In the toddler room today, we painted with marshmallows!!! The children had a lot of fun with this art activity. Today we learned the letter Z! We had fun coming up with “Z” words and making the sound for “Z.” We also learned our shape for the month: circle!!

The highlight of our Friday toddler class was the art! We painted with cups to make circles! Next week we will be learning about circles –which is our “shape of the month.”

Check out the photos from this past Thursday’s toddler classes!!! We made sparkly mirrors during our art time. Still working on our letter of the week: R. The children are having fun with the activities we do during group time to learn our color of the month: red.

Check out what we did on Wednesday!!! We made sparkly mirrors and played with “Cloud Dough.” We are learning the letter “R” and practicing identifying the color red!

Today, Ms. Joanie visited our morning and afternoon classes!! We had so much fun playing instruments and singing along with her! We also got to “act out” the “5 Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed” by bouncing a stuffed monkey on a gold sheet.

Happy Birthday to Georgia!! We celebrated with cupcakes in the afternoon class.

We had a fantastic start to our third week of school! In the toddler room we are learning the color red and the letter “R.” We are learning the ABC song and practicing sitting at group time. The children had fun working on their art show pieces: painting muffin tins and printing them on paper. A new addition to our playground is a huge sandbox!!! The children LOVE playing in it!!
