Our last two days of Toddlerpalooza week we focused on the genres “Reggae” and “Kids Bop”.

Take a peek at the past two days: Jumpy house fun….

…making our own rainsticks with colored rice and pompoms.

Today our theme was “Flight of the Bumblebee!” The children enjoyed wearing bee wings and dancing to “Flight of the Bumblebee.”

Today we continued our music theme for the week with a classical twist. We had fun fingerpainting to Mozart and other classical music.

Today we kicked off our “Toddlerpalooza” week with Ms. Joanie….singing and dancing with shaky eggs and scarves. Our morning activity was putting straws in play dough ~a fun, colorful fine-motor activity. The children enjoyed our musical sensory tub, as well! Today we continued our “wiggles and giggles” week with the theme: SHAKE! At morning tables, the children used colorful dot stampers to decorate their paper. At group time, the children sang and danced with shaky eggs to songs like “Shake My Sillies Out” and “Silly Dance Contest.” Our art experience of the day was shaking spiky balls in a pitcher to paint a picture. Our special snack of the day was created by the children {and a little bit of help from the teachers}. 😉 We made trail mix! On the playground we had fun using the easels and chalk!
