Sensory bags are so easy to make, and the kids love them! These bags are filled with purple gel and spiders to match our spider theme. To make it, you can fill any size sandwich baggie with hair gel then add food coloring and squish it all around. Next, add items of your choice such as glitter, confetti, or small objects. But the fun doesn’t have to stop there. You can make sensory bags with many different materials. Everyone entered the room in surprise to find all kinds of new toys! With the start of October our theme has changed to Spiders and Halloween. Here are a few pictures of some toddlers digging into the sensory tub.
As September comes to an end, so does our transportation theme. What better way to end our theme than with trains? Everyone in class really enjoyed our stories “Freight Train” and “I Love Trains!” Later we created our own train! We had so much fun chugging along the track.
