One of our student’s has adopted 15 baby chicks into their home. Wow!
We learned you have to hold them very carefully and they do not like to be on their back.
They all had fun and unique names and they were LOUD. So much fun in our classroom!
We found the Angler Fish in Finding Nemo!!!
What is it like to have a light connected to your head? An Angler Fish uses the “lure” to attract prey.
“Angler Fish are weird and not very cute.”
We went into a dark room to see what it would be like to suddenly ‘swim’ towards a bright light. In the deepest part of the ocean where the sun does not shine, the Angler Fish uses their ‘lure’ to attract prey.
Our ocean unit study took us outside to roll and count on HUGE dice!
Find the correct numeral that matches what we rolled and counted and color it in!

Spring is finally here!!
We have been discussing the change of seasons and what might start growing outside. Together we planted seeds and played in the dirt with shovels and rakes.
